I have discovered that dollar for dollar nothing is quite as tasty/filling as fried rice.

Last night was

rice/onion/garlic/salt/pepper/soy/egg/chinese sausage

Good recipe, innovative idea, anything?

chopped hot dog, shredded lettuce, red pepper paste, sesame oil, sesame seeds, zucchini, and maybe a few other things

you know, i just about had the exact recipe in my head when i read the title. Only thing i'd add is the frozen (diced) carrots and peas

seseme oil, garlic, eggs, many types of sausage, diced carrots, peas, green onions, chopped meats/battered fried meat, lemon pepper, cilantro, etc etc...

Spam and scallions, with some soy sauce and a little sesame oil. Eggs too, if you're so inclined.

You can put in anything, but after the first taste, it will just be a gimmick. The only one that sticks and lasts is the classic BBQ pork, peas and onions or something.

fried rice is not complete without sesame oil.

Fresh veggies.

If you want convenience, go to the freezer section and get a bag of frozen 'stir fry' veggies. It's usually peppers, onions and stuff.

chinese salted fish with chicken is the best! I also like to use those Malaysian dried shrimp, chili, garlic, etc seasoning. yum yum.

not necessarily all at once:
spiced ham
sweet peas
carrots (blanched for like 30 seconds, so it's still crisp)
cabbage
mushrooms
breakfast sausages
bbq\rotisserie chicken
bbq rib meat
pineapple (drained)
