I've had one for years and it's always been good. Very little spam, maybe a couple a year. I only use it for limited contacts, so not many places have it.

Last week or so, it's been several a day.

Just curious if something's changed.

I've had one since the late 90s. I think it was @hotmail.com , now it's @msn.com. 2 sections , Focused and Other.

I don't use the app on the PC, but just a link with Firefox browser.
https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/. My android devices uses the Outlook app.

Still using it, besides my 2 gmail.com accounts.

Yes, there's has been reports of problems with their spam filters. This is apparently not a place where they have used AI :/

They don't want to train their AI to associate humanity with slutty gals in urgent need of quickies and boner pills.

The outlook mail spam filter is way too aggressive IMO, so many times I have had someone that I already had an e-mail thread going with, reply directly and have it go to the junk folder. Almost lost a job offer once because of that

Forgot to mention: constantly un-flagging messages from my insurance agent and bank as spam and it doesn’t seem to learn. I don’t really want to straight up whitelist people either

Hotmail (now Outlook) was one of the very first really "usable" webmail applications/sites that was a viable alternative to a local email program like Outlook or Thunderbird.

I still have a functional "hotmail" address but I rarely to never use it. Right or wrong that email was closely associated with mainly anonymous "adult-oriented" type pass-times back in the day.

Frankly using a "hotmail" email address for anything important (or a business ROTFL) is only slightly less embarrassing than an AOL! (hence the name change)

;)

No spam issues with my outlook account, or my wife's.

Don't use outlook, but I've gotten around 40 spam emails from outlook over the last week about my McAfee account - I've never had McAfee.
