Anybody have an opinion on this Dell notebook? Or Dell notebooks in general?

Well..that book is about as cheap as cheap gets. But then I am sure it has its place if you dont expect too much from it. As far as Dell notebooks are concerned...I had a Dell 9300 and its awsome. My son has a Dell 600m and it has been a solid performer for him. Prior to my retirement from the Aerospace industry the corp. I worked for bought nothing but Dell for both there desktop and laptop useage and by in large I would say with very satisfactory results (we are talking about several thousand systems also).

I have (and am using atm) a Inspiron 5100. I'll just say this: Those Sony and Toshiba laptops sure do look appealing.
