Eh? Faster for what and which fees does it cut? It was hard to learn anything about the thing on PayPal's site b/c they try to walk you into it without knowing much right away.

I think it would be cool to have -- that way I could make myself sell stuff to buy new stuff, but not have to get it all on eBay (or transfer money out of PP, duh).

Do you trust your money sitting in your paypal account? Paypal is the shoddiest company I've ever dealt with in my life. I got their debit card hoping for 1.5% off fees but what it really is is they say you use your card and you get 1.5% off purchases which means you get 1.5% effectively off your fees.

I got a paypal debit in the mail but no way in hell would i use it...

Is paypal a bank yet? They need to get sued by the feds and get turned into a real bank so they can start folowing their own f'ed up rules.

I have it and use it all the time. I've never had a problem with PP.

I have a couple of credit cards already, plus a debit card. Will one more mess with my credit score? (all CCs are in good standing, of course -- carrying CC debt is not my idea of clever)

It is not a CC, so it should do nothing on your CS.

It doesn't. They advertise that your fees are -1.5% with this card. However, what actually happens is you get 1.5% off. This means that if I run 80k through my paypal account I have to spend all 80k on something before I get my fees at .7%. Also, why would I use the paypal debit card with crappy paypal policies when my amex card gives me 1.5% cash back as well with better protection and benefits?

Hello, duh. Thanks for pointing out the obvious part I missed.

<-- shouldn't post and code at the same time :D

I love it if for no other reason than I can get my PayPal money out instantly when I sell something.

Exactly what I was thinking. Maybe I'll get it then.

I have one. Haven't used it until recently, though. When you're poor, 1.5% cash back adds up.. lol
