I'm talking of the Dr. DivX version 1.0.4 in particular. It's available for purchase, but it's $50 so I thought I'd ask knowledgeable guys first whether it's worth the cash or not. Currently I use a combination of the DivX Pro 5.0.5 and the free FlaskMPEG 0.78.39 program, but it's rather inconvenient to use to back up my DVDs. I'm really tempted by the one-touch DivX encoding thing Dr. DivX promises. And pls don't tell me to install the trial to check it out, I would, but it would mean I'd have to uninstall all my current software, then the new one, then all of my old stuff back and I think it would mess up my Windows installation.

Thanks for any suggestions. Plus, maybe there's some other convenient software to do one touch DivX creation, I'd be very obliged to you if you pointed me to it. Thanks a bunch in advance.
