Anybody had an astronaut pen?

What's a good model that isn't too expensive?
Also how well do they work?

they work great, and they are fun. a friend uses it because he works at a place with a walk in freezer and it's the only pen that will write in the extreme conditions he works at.

Me too. The "Black Titanium Nitride Coated Space Pen."
I'm shocked to see how much it cost, I bet whoever lost it was kinda peeved.

the bullet pens are nice and write well, but they get away from you pretty easy.

The clip tends to fall off easily and w/o it, they're smooth/slip out easy, I've lost 2 already.

I had one, but I gave it to Jack Klompus when I was in Florida. Then the old coot gave it to Jerry for some reason and I never got it back.

I used to have one when I was a kid. I don't like actually writing with them - they use a slightly gelatinous ink that doesn't really adhere well to paper (it's sorta like the ink on the "erasable pens" they sold when I was about ten), so I always ended up smearing it all over as I wrote.

Worked fine for the Russians.

I have a Fisher Space Bullet Pen and its pretty nice. It writes on just about anything and the ink flow smooth, even upside down. Plus, it was only like $20, which is cheaper than a nice pen anyway.
