Half of Pink Floyd is better then no Floyd.

I guess the second set is going to be Dark Side of The Moon...he hasn't done that in 30 years.

That's awesome man, I'm so jealous :p I'm surprised this thread hasn't had a better response, most Pink Floyd threads get a huge response on ATOT. Maybe people here don't know who Roger Waters is...

The closest thing I've ever seen to the real thing is The Pink Floyd Experience, a tribute band. They are absolutely awesome and sound very genuine, but I'd love to see Waters play live.

I saw David Gilmore here in Toronto a few years ago, was ok. I'll pass on Roger Waters.

I love Pink Floyd, but I would only go to see Roger Waters if somebody handed me some tickets. As influential as Roger Waters was on Pink Floyd, I really think that as a musician he really is not all that great. From a musical aspect, I seem to think he didn't contribute too terribly much - hell there are stories that David Gilmore had to play bass in the studio because Waters was too trashed or otherwise unable to play.

Trashed on what....nothing has ever pointed to him being a druggy.

As I stated, I got to go to the last concert he had and it was the best I had ever seen....from the sound to the visual effects it was mind numbing.
