I'm heading to St. Louis tommorrow
to see Death Cab for Cutie and Pearl Jam.....plus apparently Gob Roberts may be there as well......

Maybe I'll see some of you there.....

tour dates

I'd like to go see some of the individual performers. WTF kind of a pairing is James Taylor and the Dixie Chicks though? I've already seen Mellencamp and Jackson Browne in concert enough... I'll wait to see the Boss and Taylor until they're not playing for a POS cause.

I'm going to see Brian Regan on Friday. I prefer artists who keep their political beliefs to themselves.

ill be sure to not go, i dont like any of the artists anyway except dave mathews and a little springsteen. I can't stand R.E.M. and their aids baby lead singer.

I seem to have heard that as of the kickoff of the tour 90% of all tickets for all events were sold. People are going and in droves. I wish Pearl Jam and Dave Matthews was coming closer to Miami. Oh well.

I had to get tickets through a presale and I still ended up with not so great seats but, not going to beat having 4th row Pearl Jam at Little Rock (went to little rock because I knew I could get good seats) last summer soo....I bet it'll be a great show though

I was bummed, I missed the Jackson Browne/Bonnie Raitt stop in Phoenix last week, but it was in the middle of the week and 100+ miles away. I used to love going to Browne's benefits that he used to do every October near Sedona.

I wish they were playing in my area. My buddy is the LD for Bonnie Raitt and it'd be fun hanging out since we both tour and get to see little of each other.

Bah. None of the performers do it for me. I would much rather see Halen with CAD.

😛

Ofcourse I'm scared to actually go to the concert because I always said I wanted to see BlackSabbath, Metallica, and V-H before I die. I've seen the other two...and now finally V-H. Good thing the concert is after the election so if I die - atleast I got to vote😉

I lived through the concert....Pearl Jam put on a great show but, I didn't get home until 4:30 this morning so I'm still pretty darn beat.......

I picked up an excellent poster....
Pretty cool

If you guys wanna see a video of pearl jam on david letterman goto singing "masters of war"

Whenever I hear this song it gives me the chills..powerful....its an old bob dylan song...

Come you masters of war
You that build all the guns
You that build the death planes
You that build the big bombs
You that hide behind walls
You that hide behind desks
I just want you to know
I can see through your masks

You that never done nothin'
But build to destroy
You play with my world
Like it's your little toy
You put a gun in my hand
And you hide from my eyes
And you turn and run farther
When the fast bullets fly

Like Judas of old
You lie and deceive
A world war can be won
You want me to believe
But I see through your eyes
And I see through your brain
Like I see through the water
That runs down my drain

You fasten the triggers
For the others to fire
Then you set back and watch
When the death count gets higher
You hide in White mansion's (that is what vedder changes the lyrics too0
As young people's blood
Flows out of their bodies
And is buried in the mud

You've thrown the worst fear
That can ever be hurled
Fear to bring children
Into the world
For threatening my baby
Unborn and unnamed
You ain't worth the blood
That runs in your veins

How much do I know
To talk out of turn
You might say that I'm young
You might say I'm unlearned
But there's one thing I know
Though I'm younger than you
Even Jesus would never
Forgive what you do

Let me ask you one question
Is your money that good
Will it buy you forgiveness
Do you think that it could
I think you will find
When your death takes its toll
All the money you made
Will never buy back your soul

And I hope that you die
And your death'll come soon
I will follow your casket
In the pale afternoon
And I'll watch while you're lowered
Down to your deathbed
And I'll stand o'er your grave
'Til I'm sure that you're dead
