Anybody get NHL2003/NHL2k3 yet? Online play for consoles?

I read on another forum that NHL2k3 for the Xbox will be the only online NHL console game. Anyone know if that's true?

True. Sega is incorporating all its sports titles (save a few like Tennis which isn't even on Xbox yet) with online capability. Xbox will be the system of choice for sports gamers one way or another.

Yep, I see on Xbox.com that NHL2k3 will have online support.

I guess it'll be this year's NHL purchase for me.

It could be total heresey, but I've heard that Microsoft (or someone closely associated) is working on
an Xbox Live enabled hockey game where not only can you play head to head with another player,
but also play with up to 11 other people with each player taking over a position (or positions if there
are less than 12 people).
