Link to chip counts.

However, it says there are still about 888 players left, and the Card Player blog supports this. How come there are only 130 so players listed in the chip counts but over 800 players remaining? If that list is not a complete list, anybody know a link to the complete list?

My friend placed 132. Pretty impressive considering 8773 people played. His payout was $47,006. He knocked out Daniel Negreanu.

To answers the OP question.. All of the sites reporting chip counts for the Main Event tend to only list name players until it becomes easier to manage.

I don't think they started listing all of the players left in the ME until they hit the ~100 mark this year.

BTW, they are down to 12. All 12 people will win at least $1.1 million.

What you saw was probably a side event, not the main event.

The final table of the main event will be PPV. It starts at 5PM on Thursday.

I am sure someone will capture all 12+ hours of it and there will be a torrent.

Keep in mind that the PPV will not be showing hole cards. You will have to wait for a few weeks for the Main Event to be shown on ESPN to see that.

Wow. So how much did everyone have to pay to enter?

The buy-in for the main event is $10,000.
