Hard to say, but I wouldn't be afraid to try it. They're not some fly by night manufacturer, having a large presence in the OEM market, now branching out into retail. A lifetime guarantee only lasts the lifetime of the business offering it, after all...

Businesses will do a lot, like cutting profit to the bone, even taking a loss, to get a foothold in a new market segment. I suspect that's the current situation wrt Gigaram...

BAH did some research on it and its CRAP STAY AWAY. the guys who bought it and test it says it dosent run as advetised no matter how many volts they gave it

Maybe I just got lucky, but the corsair value I paid 80 bucks for 1 gig and it runs DDR400 at 2225 at 2.8volts.
