Came in this morning and the thing is blocking all DNS requests. We had a power outage lastnight and after that the thing hasnt worked. I have rolled back the config file to one from May which worked but still not allowing for DNS requests to go through.
I have since taken it off and replaced it just so we can get on the internet.
I am kind of a noob with these hardware firewalls and honestly find the thing kind of cryptic. I tried creating a policy just for DNS but it didnt work. I am wondering if the power issue we had killed the device. I can connect to the device through an IP without issue but anything with a name fails.
If you think the thing is borked what do you suggest for a new firewall? We need VPN capability and the ability to translate more than a single external IP to internet IPs.
