Was just wondering about a pair of contacts I want to get.......base curve is 8.6, my prescription says 8.7, but I really want these contacts. Anybody ever wear contacts that were .1 off in base curve. Any real difference, etc??

Thanks for the reply! Really? More than normal contacts? Dam, I want these color toric lenses! .2 larger or .2 smaller?

i think the only option are 8.4 and 8.6.

The diameter is base on the manufacture.

it just means the curve in your contacts will be a bit tighter than the curve on your eye. worst case scenario: contact moves b/c it is not seated properly to your eye. don't go and buy $100 worth of the lenses, and I wouldn't use them as your primary lens without getting them approved by an optometrist for you.
