Sounds like you're the wimp if you feel the need to go armed. Big or small doesn't matter.

Not everyone is faster than a speeding bullet or more powerful than a locomotive like you must be.

LOL Johova's kitchen ......exactly and not everyone can be either or wants to be. The gun isn't called the great equalizer for nothin you know.

And BTW guns just don't "turn" themselves on your loved ones.

Nice to know that. A lot of well-known and proven self-defense instructors recommend against carrying mace because the assailant can use it against you. You think it's any different/better with a GUN? Please. And what angers me is that:

1. Bluefront assumes that because I don't carry a weapon that I'm a wimp?

2. A lot/most instances can be avoided if you swallow a little bit of pride and walk away/run - but instead the "macho" morons try to arm themselves for "protection" where someone will inevitably get hurt in a situation where it wouldn't be necessary - now, I'm not saying that everyone lives in a safe neighborhood and lives a happy, secure life, but in his case, how many times has someone tried to kill Bluefront and he's arming himself and gets all high and mighty?

3. Guns are too easy to use/abuse - like I said before - what guarentees are there that someone will take the gun and use it against you?

And one more thing - for all you idiots who thinks that you can protect yourself with a gun if it's pointed at you you think you can bring up your gun up and point it back at someone BEFORE they pull the trigger with their index finger? Dumbasses.

See the point of having a gun is to use it if you have to. Thats why you shoot them if they try to take it. Anyone thats experianced in the use of handguns wont get a handgun taken away from them unless its a group of people.

1. Mace doesn't always work, you can't shrug off a bullet.
2. Mace has a very limited range, guns do not.
3. Mace is hard to aim effectively, a gun isn't.
4. Mace will splatter back on to you, a bullet won't.

Of course I prefer swords personally, but unfortunately most attackers don't.

Put it this way, if you have a gun, you have SOME chance. If you're standing there with nothing but your dick in your hands you're dead.

A self-defence instructors livelyhood is affected for the better by giving this advice. If you have a gun you don't have much use for him now do ya. That you can actually put his years of training to rest with the " .0008 second index finger move" also pisses him off.

The thing is, YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE IN THAT SITUATION AT ALL - you can avoid it if you swallow some pride - and what do you mean by "some chance"?

Okay, okay people. Maybe i got a little hot headed, but the point of the matter is, the reason Bluefront armed himself was due to a single freakish accident - I'm not saying he wasn't lucky, but how stupid is it to think that some other drunk idiot's going to come charge at him mistaking him for someone else/some other dangerous situation?

So you're agreeing with me that it's damn easy to use - so what happens when you've got a gun to your head while you also have a gun, but it's in your pocket? All it comes down to it is that you're aware of your situation, regardless of whether if you have a gun or not. It's just plain stupid to think that carrying a weapon will magically protect you. Carrying a weapon (gun/knife/whatever) isn't stupid. Relying on that to protect yourself, rather than your wits, is.

Really? It pisses them off? I guess you have experience as a self-defense instructor then, huh? The main thing that ANY self-defense instructor will emphasize is "caution" before anything, minimizing the amount of risk exposed to the victim - recognizing the fact that they will not come out of the incident unscathed. Please get your facts straight before posting.

EDIT: Stupid grammar mistakes . . ..

All you nay-sayers need to ask yourself one question, if you were hell bent on killing someone, would them yelling "i have mace!' or 'i know kung fu!' cause you to think twice? How about them sticking a gun in your face? Case closed.

Why would a person yell "I have mace" or "I know kung fu" if they can;

-mace you, or,

-kick your ass?

Think for a second . . ..

Maybe you can mace soemone from 10 ft away, but to kick their ass from that distance you must be able to launch fireballs from your hands. SONIC BOOM! And if you mace someone with a gun, you think he's not going to pull the trigger anyway?

To see if you're dumb enough to take the chance that they're bluffing, only to get yourself killed for being the dumbass who didn't take the warning.

Eat sh|t and die, motherfscker.

lol :D

oh, btw, you're a fvcking moron if you think carrying a gun is going to protect you from someone else who already has a gun pointed at you. that .0008 second bullshit will work against you, too. so unless your name ends with "the kid," when they have a gun at your head just give them your goddamn wallet. unless your life isn't worth that much, then by all means, go have a shoot-out and risk your own life and anyone else that's around you.

Another seamy episode from the Bluefront files. Are you sure the guy wasn't a cross dressing female letter carrier that just ate one of her kids, or did he mistake you for his wife? I mean, you do like to emphasize how big you are. 6'5" wasn't it, or was that the diameter of your head.

Mace DOES reach 10 ft. moron. And if you try to pull a gun out of your own, you think he's not going to pull the trigger anyway? How would carrying ANYTHING help if the gun's already pointed at you you stupid motherfvcker? Stop asking these annoying questions that make no sense!

Jesus, where DO these people come from? Wait . . . (remembers name)

No kidding. Someone's already got a bead on you, you'll have one in the head and one in the heart as you fall before you can reach for your own heat.
