Anybody ever taken a train from seattle to vancouver?

I have done it from Vancouver to Seattle , via Star Light Express all the way to El Paso Texas & back.

It is a great ride and the price is relatively inexpensive, that is a little more than price of fuel for your car but definitely worth it. The best part of the ride was through Oregon & North Cal.

A few years ago I rode the Amtrak Cascades from Portland, OR to Seattle, WA.

It's better than driving.

I took it from Eugene to Seattle, it was awesome, and compared to the traffic now, almost just as fast .



As for train to Vancouver, a buddy and I ended up taking a bus from Seattle to Van, it was really cheap/fast and it takes you right to the train station in Vancouver.

The bus is by amtrak.

I go from Bellingham to Portland by train/ bus on a regular basis. Cheaper than driving for me, and more reliable since my truck likes to die on a regular basis. All in all it's pretty comfortable, and I usually end up with an empty seat next to me.
