Anybody ever posted something concerning a person here, and the person happened to be an AT member and found out??

I like to speak up of my problems here. I fear that some day, Im talking about somebody, and the person founds out. Worse, what if I was ranting? :Q

LOLOL

Maybe that's what happened to JohnnyGuru ;)

I know a couple of people that read here i think... i often visit this site from their house, or give them links from here. That's why i don't often share personal stuff... it's a lot easier if you're completely anonymous.

No, not yet...hopefully never. There have been cases though, with a person's roommate wanting to register here and the person had been ranting about his roomate.

edit:
it's a lot easier if you're completely anonymous.
note to self: take out full name from profile.

only one other person i know goes to AT forums. i dont talk trash about him though. he's cool since he was the one who told me about this forum for the hot deals section. now that i got a desktop built, i never go there anymore so i just linger here in OT and once in awhile the hardware forum for help.

My exboyfriend used to visit these forums before I did, and just recently he searched for all my posts--but the only thing he took offense to was that I admitted I broke up with him. He is fond of everyone thinking we drifted apart and it was a mutual break up, but in actuality, I broke up with him.
I gave my boss the link, but he just reads the technical/hardware stuff, he doesn't do Off Topic (I hope).

heh, it was the opposite with my ex's... for some reason they all want everybody to think that we drifted apart... *shrug*

I found the forums through my bf, prol the last place he expected me to sign up. I knew he was a member and that's what got me interested. Searches of what he posted turned up nothing but tech stuff though. ;) Careful of the generalizations you make about the female half of the species guys - your next gf might want to read what you wrote.

You might wanna log out of his account & log into your own.

;)

Your boyfriend might object to the homosexual implications.

Hey guys, Viper GTS I think you're a mod and you're playing tricks on me!!! I posted that message under MY name and it posted like that, I saw. Later it was changed, and I wasn't on his account - he's six hundred miles away and I don't know his password or anything! I PMed the mods about it and they basically said, huh, how weird.

And that last post was my bad. We're both home for Christmas now and I didn't know he'd logged in on my comp. But the first one is a mystery!!! :)

I do not recall doing it. Eyecandy posted some crap about me here and sh!t hit the fan when I read it. Contributed to our split as well.

The closest thing to that was what happened to me when I mentioned that I worked as a Radio DJ in Hawaii (in a thread reply). One of the forum members here PM'd me to ask "which one?"

As it turned out, they worked at the SAME station but quit the year before I started working (evidently we even met in person) . . .

Small world! :Q

The one story I know about that is that Kelvrick and JeremyJoe live across the hall from each other in the same dorm. Both ATers, neither knew when they met. So - it can happen.
