It was by Avalon Hill, who was acquired by Wizards of the Coast, who is owned by Hasbro now. I played the original version, trying to get the new one. It was a lot of fun, much more so than Monopoly. I mentioned it in the board game thread a week or two ago.

ah, i'll have to search for that thread... i love board games let me know if you find a store carrying the new one.

mrvile - it's similar to monopoly in subject (money), not so much in gameplay though... you form corporations and buy shares... there is less emphasis on random chance and more on interaction with other players. also, the game is designed such that it is more or less constantly exciting.

Froogle turns up several places selling it. My local comic and game store has a copy on order, but has had trouble getting that item in before. Not sure if it is that much in demand or if it has gone out of print.
