Anybody ever pay a company to trim their tree?

There's a tree growing absolutely out of control in the front yard of my fraternity house. Wanted to know what ballpark figure to expect if we wanted it trimmed.

I don't want to get a real estimate, just a ball park figure of what other people have paid...

I know you said trim and not removed, but since there are no real answers yet, I'll tell you that I got 2 smaller trees (about 10 ft each) removed and its stump grounded... for a measely $100.
