Anybody ever heard of Vienna Teng

She plays music with a piano which is much like Rachel Yamigata, Norah Jones, and Celtic music. I just heard some of her music from a older friend of mine. Pretty cool stuff. Apparently, she sells very well on Amazon. Anyone else heard of her?

She is a lot like Anna Nalick, too, but with a more celtic influence.

For bay area folks, she's having a concert at the Shattuck Down Low in Berkeley this Thursday 5/18 at 8pm. Tickets are only $15. She is awesome live 🙂

It isn't really celtic music, but her voice has some of her songs have that eery quality to it.

Her sound is closer to Rachel Yamigata.

She played a couple of songs live for the radio station I listen to (KMTT Seattle) and I liked them enough to download the MP3s and then buy her CDs.
