Anybody ever hear of any problems with Plantronics Audio 90 and Soundblaster sound cards?

I have had the same problem I did last time I got a replacement. The sound goes in and out on the headphones, but the mic part of the headset works fine.

My question is, is there any problems with the Audio 90 and a Soundblaster Live! Card?
 
Now I don't think it's just the Plantronics, it's another pair of headphones too. Would this be a corrupt soundcard or do I need to patch?
 
Sigh. What kind of headphones? What kind of speakers do you have? Last time you said the sound worked fine through your speakers.
