How much per day it costs to leave your computer on. I just got my electric bill and am wondering why it is so high.

i dont know the formula for taking watts and time...and turning it into watt hours...

Just a wild guess, but 1 watt for 1 hour is one watt hour? dunno...

As I understand it, if you use 1kW for 1 hour then you use 1kWh and if you use 100W for 10 hours that is also 1 kWh.


so kilowatts X time (in hours) = kWh used.

(I think, I could look it up but I'm kinda lazy)
