Anybody else use Delivery Confirmation/Tracking for Rebates?

I just got burned on a $250 rebate because it was "Past the postmarked date." BS. I had documentation of everything, copies of everything....except proof of the mailing date.

So now I've decided to start using DC/Tracking on high value rebates. No way I want to be burned like that again.

Anyone else do this? Sure it adds hassle, but it's just more about covering all of your bases.

Yep, for anything >$50, I send it certified.

Supposedly it slows things down, but it really helps when the submissions disappear...

Yes, for valuable rebates I will send it in a bubble envelope with thickness at 3/4" so I can just pay normal first class rates with delivery confirmation added on.
