I started to feel sorta goofy last sunday, went to work on monday and by monday night i could tell i was coming down with something. By Tuesday morning i wished somebody would have shot me to put me out of my misery. I had the worst body aches you could imagine, a wicked sore throat, raging headache, Dizzy, and my skin was so sensitive i could bearly touch it, intense chills then burning up. plus throwing up a couple of times. I really thought i was going to die.
Had my wife call our Doc to get me in for an appt, she could fit me in at 10:30. My wife drove me and i hardly remember the drive to and from. She tested me for strep which was negagive. Then she told me that there is this nasty virus going around that mimics West Nile in every symtom but you dont get the rash. The worst part is that there isnt anything she could do for me but send me home and ride it out, and it will take 4 weeks to fully recover. :|
I have not been to work since monday and today is the first time i have been out of bed. I feel better than i did tues or wed, but im no where near 100%.
Just wondering if anybody else or have herd of somebody else having this crap?
