Anybody else NOT like the Logitech MX Duo??

I just got it this afternoon and am presently using it... I dunno, maybe I'm too used to the simple yet effective Dell Quietkey and logitech scroll mouse but these new fangled gadgets are awfully complicated and dont seem to make things any easier or simpler. Is this how it always is or does it take some time to get acclimated to these devices?

Also, the reason I got them was because they were "wireless" btu the thing is that there's still tons of wires.... granted, there are none on my desktop but now the rear end of my computer is even more a mess than it ever was before...

i didnt find the keyboard hard to use. i have the logitech mx duo and the mouse and keyboard work great. actually, i didnt install the keyboard software because it was retarded and everytiime i moved the volume control and was playing a game like counterstrike it would lag my video and sound and take me to like 5 fps. without it installed i can still adjust the volume and nothing lags. i dont know what it was conflicting with but now its good.

i love my mx duo!

I can sit in bed, reading, and control my mp3s and TV tuner from the bed. I get one-button access to my docs, my computer, my pictures. I haven't quite setup my icontrol menu (the one for the thumbwheel on the keyboard) but that'll make things easier too. And I like the mouse-button Alt-tab feature. The only thing i find useless ore the 'cruise' buttons on the mouse.

BTW the wireless mouse is a lot better than I thought it'd be...

It takes getting used to, the mouse is hard to adapt to gaming somewhat..

i like mx mice, but i like the ms natural multimedia keyboard better course thats only if u like split keys.

i don't like the mouse but I love the keyboard. Mainly because it has all the controls and hotkeys.

logitech's software tends to suck. I use this duo cept I didn't get the mx700 with mine. It came with some other logitech mouse. I already had a MX700 so it's all good.

the thing i cant stand is that the keyboard seems somewhat receded and the keys are not nearly as pleasant or easy to press as teh dell quietkey's.....

half the resolution of mx!! 400dpi vs 800dpi isn't funny. sh*tty hard high resistence mouse feet suck. 4ever my butt.. and i have one on my 2nd pc.

btw i have a teflon tape hotdeals thread in hotdeals. the only thing that keeps me from taking a hammer to the explorer mouse.

personally i don't like the mouse really well.
