Anybody else not have any gift ideas?

My family doesn't ever give me shit for ideas. It is annoying as hell. I'm tempted to just not get anyone anything since they always avoid answering the question.

i mean, gift cards are shitty gifts, but if your family either doesn't need anything in particular, or you're not thoughtful enough to come up with a nice gift for your family, or your family has many people like me, who won't buy items at retail value and only waits for slickdeals, but also buys stuff on impulse so they can never really take a nice gift, then go ahead.

Yeah, my family never tells me what they want. I finally got some suggestions for my sister and mom from each other today, and then my ex gave me a good suggestion for my brother and dad tonight. So now I'm set, finally.

I grabbed my mom a dock for her phone in the car when she uses it for GPS. Won't tell me shit else. Said "I really don't have anything I need." Sister told me she wanted an NES for Duckhunt...goddamn hipsters.

yeah my SO wanted to get me a gift but I had no idea what I wanted. If I want something I pretty much just buy it, and if I don't buy it it's because I don't think I really need it or I think it's too expensive. She kept bugging me so I just went to Thinkgeek, found a bunch of stuff i might actually use (watch with a hidden flash drive, all edges brownie pan, bag of holding messenger bag, etc), and sent her links and told her to pick. I guess it works out.

The family was easy to buy for this yr, new TV for Red, new phone for my son.

One year, right after my wife & I got married, when we asked my mom what she wanted for Christmas, she replied, "nothing." So...that's what she got.
