😕 Where does it say that?Originally posted by: Syran
I'm not sure if I like the idea that they transform into human form. Just a bit... wierd.

Anyways, I don't know why they bother calling it a "live action" version when in order to do it right, probably 80% of the shots will contain CGI. 🙂
New Transformation for 'The Transformers'
Defining the state of the art of animation as it has advanced over the past two decades, The Transformers, which began as a Japanese-produced kids television series in the early 1980s (primarily intended to promote a line of toys), then went on to feature films with The Transformers: The Movie in 1986 and a series of additional TV shows in more recent years, will next become a feature film in which real humans will be transformed into machines via computer-imaging animation, the Hollywood Reporter reported today (Wednesday). In a statement, Angry Films chief Don Murphy said, "Transformers enjoys an amazing fan base worldwide, and we believe that we can create an incredibly fast-paced, exciting movie that will be appealing to anyone who loves action films."
I think they just mean that they will be using actual actors for motion-capture.Originally posted by: Syran

they probably mean they will transfor to humanoid form, ie, 2 legs, 2 arms, and a head. Please oh please, if they are normal humans that transform into cars, i will drop trouser and defecate in the middle of the theater.
