Anybody else itching for an SiS 730s based mother board?

I've been anticipating the sis 730s ever since I first read about it last Summer. It sounds like the best possible solution for a Duron system. But in all my searching on the net, I haven't found anything to say when we can actually buy one. After searching the list of vendors SiS listed, the only manufacturer that even mentioned a "coming soon" board was ChainTech. Anybody got any news or thoughts on this situation?

I dunno but I'm with you I have my main System, Asus K7M with a SlotA 700Mhz TBird on the way (hoping to hit 900Mhz+)

But I'd like to make a light weight server system for my house...my roommate has a spare hard drive and I've got a new spare CDRom (RMA'd) from when I replaced it with my DVD, spare keyboard, mouse, floppy around, we have a crappy 14" monitor but it'll do the job here...with RAM as cheap as it is right now picking up 128MB and a Duron + Sis730 would make a nice little server machine (it's going to be a server for 2 or 3 users 😉)

I'm with you guys
Apparently, there was a bug on the chip, and the board release has been delayed.
We should expect to see them start to appear possibly on Jan next year at the earlist. Can't wait to see what MSI can come up with this chip.
