i worked closely with the vehicle over this past summer. it looks promising, but i've heard they are having huge problems with the battery. they design the vehicle to last 10 years, but tests have shown that hte battery goes bad after 2 years. that is a 2000 dollar battery.

If Ford has a warranty like Toyota's for the electrical components (8 years, 100,000 miles) it's a moot point. If they have to replace many they will make them last longer more quickly.
