Anybody else having their allergies flare up?

The trees here have started budding for the year and I've been in rough shape since Sunday evening. I've been taking Sudafed, Benadryl, NyQuil, Advil, and anything else I can get my hands on in hopes of clearing my sinuses and keeping them dry. Today I'm still sneezing like crazy and blowing my nose every 3 minutes - I'm starting to think a trip to the doc might not be a bad idea.

Happened to a bunch of my friends around a month ago here in Florida... I guess we just hit spring time earlier.

I'm popping my Costco-brand generic Claritin (loratadine) every morning... luckily, my allergies aren't too bad so it keeps them in check.

Pollen was godawful this year in GA since we're not getting much rain. I'm not even allergic, but the sheer volume of crap I was inhaling was enough to bother me.

I hate pollens. I just took Allegra and it is working for now.

I will not buy Claritin (Loratadine), why pay retail, when I can get prescription meds like Zyrtec, or Allegra for cheaper thru insurance? I just have to alternate between Zyrtec and Allegra weekly.

I sit in my house all [business] day and yet my allergies act up. No windows are open. How does this happen ?!

If you never venture outdoors, you won't have problems with any allergies other than dust-related ones. :)

Go to a friend's dorm, or try the library bathroom. ;)

Got a Walgreen's near you?

I just picked this up today. I'd never gotten around to buying a neti pot/making solution, etc. This is easy, pre-packaged, and foolproof. Oh, and it seems to be very effective. Just tried it an hour ago, so far I'm impressed. I can actually breathe.

:)

One thing though, people will think you're nuts - It's a little on the bizarre side.
