I've tried several times now burning the iso of both the 64 and 32 bit versions with no success. It results in bad non-bootable burns. I've also tried 2 different burning programs.

Any ideas?

I have made 5 DVD coasters myself... I can get the discs to boot, but the install always errors out when copying files. I finally gave up and installed from a HDD.

I've burned 4, all do the same thing. Windows is loading files... white scrolling bar... background image loads... wait 30 seconds, BSOD. I gave up.

I checked the checksum and confirmed that my download was correct.

Then, I used Nero to burn the image on a DVD-RW since I did not want to waste a DVD-R on it.

On my first attempt to install, the process took a very long time. I backed up my data and wiped out the hard drive. Then, attempted the install again. This time, everything went smoothly.

The installation takes about 14GB! So, you need a large partition for it compared to what you need for XP.
