anybody else having more problems w/ FF as of late?

I never used to have any problems w/ FF, but ever since the last browser update the thing crashes at least twice a day. I can't seem to reproduce it either. It's happened when I had just one tab and many tabs open. Anybody else having problems as of late?

I've been experiencing issues with FF both beta and standard release. Beta crashes whenever I go to Yahoo mail, and sometimes here too 🙁

Mine is slow as hell, and I know it's FF because I can quickly access everything with IE that I'm trying to access w/ FF. I will try that "delete profile" trick and see what that does.

EDIT: That is, I will once I figure out how 🙂

Yeah, FF 3 Beta 5 has been pretty clunky for me.

I've had the exact opposite experience...

The only time it takes a crap on me is when I tell it to not show the download box and downloading something with multiple file extensions but otherwise it's been smooth, few about:config tweaks and adblock plus is all I've done to it too.

I just fixed a problem I was having with mine. Well sort of. Seems either some of my ram went or the slots they were in are bad.

I was experiencing completely random FF crashes. Most of the other apps seemed to work fine. Just FF kept crashing. Did a quick prime95 test at stock speeds and it would error out within seconds. Took out the bad ram and everythings working as it should. So check your ram.

I'm sure you're more than capable of figuring it out yourself, but here it is: Make sure you back up your bookmarks and make a list of the extensions you have. Then go to run and type in "Firefox.exe -profilemanager" The profile "Default User" should be there. Make a new one and then delete that one.
