When i open steam to their browsr page, sound for any other application cuts out. If I exit steam (exit app, not close out window), my sound come back.
I have a Xfi XtremeMusic(Not XteremeAudio rebadged Audigy2) with Vista 64 drivers installed on Win7x64 RC7100. It works perfectly fine otherwise, but it seems as if Steam's browser hijacks all 128 audio voice channels.
Programs that use audio don't crash, they just go silent. WMP/Zune/Youtube, anything just produce no sounds until i stop the steam program from running.
