I bit on the sale at ashford.com, thanks to this thread in Hot Deals. After I chose a really nice Seiko SMA033 watch, I continued shopping, and picked up some other things. The package was shipped FedEx overnight, and arrived today.
Upon opening the box, everything was there except the watch. I never received an email saying my order would require two boxes. The packing slip lists the watch, with no mention that it shipped in a different box. They don't have tracking numbers on their website, just a link, and when hovering with the mouse I see two numbers in the javascript: one is a valid tracking number, shown as delivered at fedex.com...the other is my order number...so it appears there was only one package shipped.
I have a bad feeling that some poor warehouse guy who is getting layed off after the sale is over, and diamond.com takes over ashford, decided to give himself a nice "going away" gift...out of my order.
Anybody else have a problem with their orders?
