Anybody else have a petrifying fear of caterpillars?

First things first. I'm not the least bit afraid of spiders, snakes, the dark, sharks, public speaking, heights, anything else as far as I know. But the sight of a caterpillar is sheer terror to me. I don't know why.

Yeah I'm man enough to admit it. Just wondering if I'm alone since I don't know anybody else even the least bit creeped out by them.

Only the ones that invade trees during early summer, and are ugly and hairy, and seem to exist in colonies of hundreds. Other than them I think theyre cute, especially the orange and black furry ones (definetly cute), and also one my buddy has (some tropical variety) thats about 6" long, green, and almost looks like a cartoon.

Caterpillars are fine. But damn centipedes are freaking scary. My cat pointed out a 3 1/2 inch centipede on the ceiling of my extra bedroom. It was fast but my boot was faster.

brings back bad memories of this street near a place where i used to live. every summer the trees would rain hairy & brightly coloredl caterpillars. the uber fvcking nastiness! bet they were poisonous. luckily never had one fall on me.

Yeah, I'll see them outside occassionally, ones about that size and they don't affect me in the slightest. Neither millipedes not earthworms. Weird.

They are some scarey looking things especially at night,
what with the lights shining in your eyes, and the LOUD backup alarms too. 😉

I was going to say, I hope you're talking about bulldozers and stuff 😀

I love caterpillars. Especially the ones in the family Saturniidae.

No, I just think nasty. When I pick tomatoes in my backyard I get really disgusted if I get close to touching a big fat green caterpillar. *shudders*

OH my god yes. I wake up in cold sweats thinking that a two ton diesel caterpillar is using its front end loader to bulldoze my house!

I hate most things which are <1" in size. Spiders, flies, caterpillars, bees, ants etc etc.

How do you gather the courage to masturbate?
