Anybody else bored and lonely at work?

I work in a pretty fun office, but today, one teammate is on vacation while the other two are sick. There are others in the building out on vacation or sick, so the office as a whole is rather quiet (there's only 22 to begin with) and I have absolutely nothing to do.

So, how's everything on your side?

Same here. Went from 120 people to less than 60 in less than a year and more cuts are coming. 🙁

hah...luckily we don't have that concern here. A few of the sick ones are incredibly out of shape and are consistently sick and it makes me mad.

Well, going for 20-odd people to probably 15 feels like a pretty big change.

And I don't have anything to do because we're in the middle of projects...I was supposed to get something new today but the account leader is out sick.

When we have people out, I don't get lonely at all. I enjoy the quiet and get more shit done than usual when I have to deal with interruptions every 5 minutes.
