Anybody else amazed at all the belly-aching over the weather?

You would think that with recent events like the tsunami and all those hurricanes last year that hit Florida, that people would be grateful that the worst they get is a few feet of snow or clouds? So what, you need to dig your car out of the snow, or you're late going to work. At least you didn't lose entire families or neighborhoods.

parody about belly-aching over belly-aching over the weather in 3..2..1....

So what you're saying is that now that the tsunami disaster has stuck there is going to be no other tragedy or event worthy of bemoaning and complaining about?

You can use that logic when people complain about anything.

"arrrghh, I hate my car."

At least you've got one. There are people who can't afford one.

"I hate my job."

Again, at least you've got one. There are plenty of people who don't have jobs or have worse jobs than you do. That is, unless you're the elephant pooper-scooper at the zoo.

See a pattern here? People like to complain. Some have valid complaints and others just have nothing better to do.

Not when it's just a few feet of snow or it's just not sunny out.

Well in that case you'd better send a memo out to the world. Widows and orphans need to start tightening up eh? Not to mention people with mortgages and car loans who just got laid off.

You're right. I guess i was just raised in a house where nobody wanted to hear you whine and complain.... if you weren't happy about something, you made it better, or took advantage of the situation you were in.

Yes, I do. I managed to get through college and nuclear power school as a result.

Thanks for noticing.
