i think i might sound that way to other people... i'm always like "okay, bye... yea... uh huh... okay, bye.... okay, bye... *click*"

i don't mean to be this way, i just get in the "close conversation mode" and nothing can seem to stop me :p

i feel kind of bad though... i must sound like an ass to other people.

I don't like talking on the telephone, that's probably why I don't own a cell phone. I don't like having a leash tied to me. When I leave the house I don't want anyone bothering me.

Well, telemarketers I just hang up on as soon as they ignore my first "no thank you" :)

Everyone else, nope. If actually do have something else I need to do I say so, otherwise I'm not in a rush.

I'm the same way. I actually hate initiating the conversation period. I prefer more impersonal ways of speaking to people, i.e. email and IM.

Oh yeah...I hate it when people take 30 secs to say goodbye. It's simple:

"Ok...talk to ya later...bye"

Boom! You're done!

And leaving my former in-laws was an exercise in frustration...took literally about 20-25 min. by the time I told my ex let's go until we got out the door.
