So my watch is on the fritz and it looks like I could use a new one anyways, and since there are a couple of books I need I decided to check out Amazon for their watch collection. Has any of you bought watches (or just small items)from Amazon before? From my past experience their packaging has always been really flimsy, with those stupid air bags hastily stuffed and merchandise free to shuffle itself inside the box. I haven't had problems with them though, partly because the stuff I usually buy has its own packaging or isn't as sensitive to transit damage.

Do watches all come with a box?

I've bought jewelry, the original box for the item should be sufficient packing and then they stick in their bigger box with air bags. What kinda watch did you buy? Sometimes they take the item stick it to a piece of cardboard and wrap plastic around it to help it from shuffling to much...

Guess you'll see.

I bought an Invicta watch from them. It came in its original box, which is a really heavy duty package. They boxed it very well with the air bag things, everything arrived just fine.

Bought a watch from 'em (wearing it right now). Don't recall thinking "hey this packaging sucks!"
