Okay here is what I got with my Power Color 9700 NON-Prorunning at it's stock speed of 277Mhz Core/270 Mem & CAT 3.6 Drivers:
AquaMark Score: 35,086 (CPU: 10568, GFX: 4206 Hyper-Threading Enabled P4). I'm running this on a P4 2.4c OC'ed to 3078Mhz. Kingston HyperX PC3500 512MB X2 running @ 2-2-2-5 on a IC7 MB. Now when I ran these test I had the Direct3D set to 'Application Default' in the ATI control panel.
What I really like about Aquamark3 is that its very quick to run thru, as compared to 3DMark2003 (which takes an ungodly time). But I don't like you can't configure it to change any settings in the Benchmark. Can you only do this in the Pro version? BTW, in 3DMark2001SE I get 15,960 at default settings and in 3DMark2003 I get only 4470.
Then I went into the Direct3D ATI control panel, and unchecked the Application Preference, so that 4X AA & 8X FSAA was turned on in Aquamark3. I ran the benchmark and my score really dropped on down to 24,902 (CPU: 10582, GFX: 2820).
Just thought I'd let everyone know what I got. Maybe tonight or tomorrow I will install CAT 3.7 drivers and see how my scores change.
Thanks all.
EDIT: Update
Okay I just tried again with HT Turned off, and here are my scores - AquaMark Score: 33391 (CPU: 9740, GFX: 4029). A bit of a change, but really not that big of a deal. But I guess it finally proves that HT DOES do something.
