Anybody available to answer a Half Life Question?

Just checking to see if anyone was interested. I'm in the Blast Pit, and the last thing I've done is turn on some fuel and oxygen. Now I'm back tip- toeing around the snakes with beaks who only respond to sound. What NOW!
 
It's about three years since I was at that point - but I think you had to break thru a door at the very bottom level of the blast pit room.I used grenades from an upper level to make sure it was open before running for it 🙂

Have you killed the monster with the huge claw thingy yet?

If not then you need to go to the control room (you will have passed through it when you first saw the monster) and activate the switch. This will cause the monster to meet a fiery death and leave a hole in the centre of the room which you can go through.
 
hehe, feel asleep again 🙂 i hate when that happens, its so coutner-productive :]. but yeah but I think you had to break thru a door at the very bottom level of the blast pit room.I used grenades from an upper level to make sure it was open before running for it you gotta go turn the power on now, and once you do that go all the way up to the main control room where you first saw the scientist get eaten by the snake. flip the switch and watch that dirty mo-fo fry
