PICS
Some pics and a quick time video of him in there. I took probably 50 pics and those are the only ones that came out at all use able and really 100_0341.JPG is the only decent one. Couldn't get him to stand still long enough to take any.

I've been running into him while walking my dogs up at the park near my house for about a month. Each time I'd run into him he would follow me all the way back to my house and the last time he just didn't ever leave. He sat on my porch all evening, was there when I left for work at midnight, and was still there when I got back at 8am which is when I folded and let him in my fenced yard. He doesn't have a collar and people dump dogs up at the park fairly often so I'm pretty certain he is a stray. He is probably about a year old and weighs around 65-70lbs and other then being a couple pounds underweight seems to be in good health. So far he has been a really good dog. He spends most of the day romping around the yard with one of my other dogs and hasn't destroyed anything in the 4 days he has been here. He hasn't even messed in the house yet. He is real play full and already knows how to play fetch and frisbee although he needs a little work on giving the balls back. He walks ok on a leash but does pull some but then I've only taken him on one walk so far. His really only bad habit is jumping but I'm working on that. He figured out my dog door real quick too so he isn't stupid.

A lady on my street runs a small rescue and is suppose to come check him out at some point and see about getting him fixed, his shots, and add him to their petfinder.com page as long as I foster him but I know there are lots of dog lovers on here so a little extra advertising wont hurt. I'd be willing to deliver him within a couple hours in any direction if thats what it takes. I have 3 dogs of my own one of which was another foster that never left and I can't have 4. Once the rescue puts some money into him there will probably be a $50-$100 charge just to cover vet stuff but until then he is free. Just let me know if you're interested.

If you would rather have a white and tan hound mix we have one of those running around here too. Haven't seen him for a while but while I was making this thread he just ran by my fence :).

What a pretty dog. We had a black lab / newfy mix for 12 years. Most loyal dog, ever.

I hope he finds a home soon.

You might want to put your location in your post.

Cute dog tough, I've always liked newfies, too bad I'm a lot more than a couple of hours away and my residence doesn't allow medium to large dogs.

Also, it's a puppy, if it's really a newfie, definitely not a full year at 65-70lbs(5-70kgs is more likely) newfies are enormous.

That is a really cute dog, I wish I was closer and not in an apt.

I've got 50/50 odds you keep this dog, he really seems to like your other one :)

He does drool but not too bad. Really only after he has drank. My parents have a blood hound now that thing drools. Yeah I'm pretty sure he is a mix and have put that in the title everywhere else I listed him. He could be younger then I think though and have some growing to do yet.

I only shoot people that don't leave not dogs.
