Anybody agree that Saddam can be trusted more than Bush?

Well, when Saddam tells a lie, it's in his own best interest. When Bush tells a lie, it is in, what he thinks, is the best interest of the country. I feel safer having Bush tell the lies.

Wrong. Bush thinks it is what will get him the most money.

As someone said, it's time for you to pack your bags. You should feel alot safer living in Baghdad. I know I'll feel safer with you there. 🙂

No, Bushs' lies are in the best interest of Texas, or more specifically, the oil companies of Houston.

Oh, so Bush personally will profit from a war with Iraq? That's odd, since he doesn't manage his own finances and I doubt that he would be stupid enough to jeapordize his legacy by engaging in overly shady business.

Are you in training for the asshat olympics or something?

no he is just trying to be next president.

I dont think he lies enough for that. And, because of his sandal wearing hippy-like attitude, he probably despises spying on and cheating American citizens out of their rights.

Please inform me. What lies are you talking about, I must have missed them?

Besides, how does taking over huge oilfields (and lowering the price of oil worldwide due to increased supply) help him profit? His investments are in Texas oil which would LOSE money.

So no president has lied, cheated, or done anything to gain anything other than something for the true good of the American people? Ill call you out on that one. DMCA. Plenty of rich companies wanted that one put in place... Wonder where those lobby checks went... Maybe not the president (although I do believe Disney spends quite a bit of money funding campaigns), but other politicians. Theyre all whores of the same type.

I don't mean that he has lied per se, though given the history of the presidency, he probably has. But if he did, I doubt that it was to gain personally from it beyond perhaps a chance at revenge or securing his legacy.

War helps the economy. The economy is crap. He gains some popularity there. If people start spending money, companies will have some extra money to throw around to support campaigns, and whatnot.
