I bought all the paperbacks of Amber, then The Great Book of Amber (all 10 combined) and the Visual Guide to Castle Amber, AND the Amber Diceless Role Playing Game.

Have all of his books including one signed, numbered edition as well as the two books written by Ted Krulik (also signed as he is a friend of my mom).

Haha, funny coincidence. I just finished reading the Amber compilation and a couple of his more recent works (Donnerjack) in the last week or so. Yah, it definitely sucks that he's passed away.

Was it just me or did the last books ending leave something to be desired. I understand that Zelazny did not finsh writting the last book and that was why it was so weak.

I bought the big book of Amber, and am in the first one right now, they're like driving around in some car and like shifting through universes or something, and I find it very boring.

<< Well, he also stopped breathing sometime in the mid-nineties. >>

That never stopped Tolkien and Asimov!

1967mustangman: Yah, the story did seem to lose some steam towards the end. I think that's probably a problem that a lot of authors have. People are complaining about the same thing happpening with the Wheel of Time series. One series that I really liked was the sci-fi one by Gordon R. Dickson. The one about the others, Bleys (can't remember the details). Anyways, seems like the guy just totally dropped the series in the middle and went on to other books. Of course, if my info is wrong and the guy did continue with that series, please let me know. :)
