Any4850 & 4870 reviews showing minimum FPS vers Nvidia cards

I want to find reviews including tests showing minimum FPS for 4850 and/or 4870 in comparison to comparable Nvidia cards.

Anyone seen any? Any link?

Unfortunately, very few sites publish these minimums, even though they are arguably more important than the averages.

Whoa turning on AA in DX10 really hurts minimum fps with less than 1 GB of ram. Looks like 512 mb of video ram is not enough anymore at least for DX10 titles when enabling any kind of AA.

Why did they do any Crysis benchmarks with Very High in DX10 ?

Hardware Canucks doesn't include results for the GTX 260 though.

PC Perspective includes benchmarks for all 4 new cards and they have minimum maximum and average, only problem is that they separate the groups into different graphs so you will need to do alot of scrolling to compare

minimums are more important to me too. Thanks for the canucks link.
But why in the world would they not test 1920x1200 resolution? out of all their games only ONE Was tested at that resolution, the rest were:
1280x1024, 1680x1050, and 2560x1600... skipping the most important resultion.

that ars article is interesting. I had assumed that the 4870 was weaker in minimum fps based upon pcslookout's post, but I'm reading the opposite from ars technica. who's right?

IMHO the most credible sites listed in this thread is hardware canucks/pc perspective. Also xbitlabs, and hopefully they can get their GTX series review out within soon for comparison.

nobody tests Flight Simulator X, although it is extremely limited by CPU cores. It would be very important in GPU :CPU performance tests.
