Any1 tried SOFTWARE RAID in Win 2000 ? please tell me about it

Works pretty damn good from what I have seen. I have it running on my system and my benchmarks are comparable to people using the Fasttrak66 modded card. The only thing I've seen problem wise, is that it does not like overclocking much. As long as you keep your PCI bus speeds down, it'll be ok, but when they go up, lockups occur.

2 7200rpm drives (~10gig) + a fasttrak 100 controller would set me back ~320 $$$

If you really don't want to do software raid, fasttrak 66 cards are only like $65 now a days. Go get one.
 
Fireball, are you doing raid with your tekram or or something else? If you you are, how do i go about setting it up for that controller?
