any1 here use firefox?

Funny story actually....

This weekend I got tired of having google preview as a extension and uninstalled it from the extensions and it would just say that it would be uninstalled after the next reboot of firefox but never uninstalled. So i decided to uninstall fire fox from the control panel/ad remove programs and reinstall it. When i opened firefox after that i found that all my extensions were still there. So i then decided to remove it from ad remove as well as the registry and delete the folder under programs files. I did that rebooted and reloaded firefox and my extensions were still there. I then did a thorough search through my registry and deleted anything that said firefox and followed the other steps above with the same result. After about 2 hours trying to get rid of that damn extension I found that there is a fire fox folder under the application folder in the windows user profile folder. I delete that and they were all gone.....i was more frustrated with how easy it was at the end than anything. LOL

Oh, and i think everyone here uses it

Everyone definitely doesn't use it, altho most have probably atleast tried it. I'd say that almost everyone that has used it has gone thru what you described at some point, hehe.

Myself I got sick of ff and booted it to el curbo.
