Considering Univ. of Memphis, TN to finsih off my MBA and maybe get into a master's program in economics there ...

Any1 been there, opinions, current students, alumni ?
 
U of M is a great school.

Did not go there but I grew up and live an hour from Memphis so I used to be there all of the time.

 
Memphis huh, better visit there first to see if you like it. I live in east tn, knoxville area. Memphis is the largest city..just go visit and check out the school (like an orientation)

I personally think the city of Memphis sucks, but there are nice places around and it's probably not as bad as someone not from the South would think it is. I have no idea about their MBA program. Nash- & Knoxville are better places. Also, nearby Ole Miss' biz school has some reputation, and it's relatively cheap.
 
I went there for law school. I think I got a good legal education from there but the city itself sucks. Make sure you visit before you make a choice.
