Any1 else always sick this winter?

What the hell is going on with me - I've had the flu 4 times so far this winter! I have a very strong immune system (well, usually) and tend to bounce back fairly quickly.. But I've missed like 3 weeks of school this semester because I'm always sick - what gives? In the past I've only had the flu maybe once per winter... Am I getting old or is this a common problem? I heard that there are a lot of new strains this winter so is this why I'm always sick? Could I have mono? I have gone to the doctor's office and I've always been told to "drink fluids and rest."... I'm going to demand a blood test soon but I really do feel like crap all the time -what gives?
