Hello fellow Hot-Deals-are-not-a-hobby-but-a-lifestyle 'ers!

I am looking to build at least one HTPC. Common PC cooling fans / PSU's just don't cut it for noise when watching a movie / tv. Anyone know of any current or upcoming hot deals on products suchs as:

* Thermaltake W0013 Silent Purepower 480W (or similar quality PSUs)
* Zalman RESERATOR 1 (or similar quality noiseless cooling systems)
* Zalman ZM-2HC2 HD Cooler / Quieter (or similar noiseless HD coolers / vibration dampeners)

Also, does anyone have any information on the Nexus TDD-3000 Thermal Innovation Notebook Heat-Pipe Cooler or similar quiet Notebook coolers? I have an Inspiron that almost burns my lap...

Thanks in advance-

Dang you guys are f'ing stupid. I mean sure the guy didn't really post a hot deal until his second post, but like none of you have ever posted on a forum without reading the rules. I mean everybody makes mistakes, but then you a$$hats gotta come in here posting stupid stuff like that. Its a wonder any new members stay at this forum.

Anyways, just had to rant

VinLombardi, so please read the forum rules and you will be fine, don't pay any attention to those bozos. I am also building an HTPC/PVR, but haven't started looking for fans and stuff, since I am looking an the antec overture with all the fans already installed.

My rule is a quiet PC is a distant PC.

OTOH I don't really think HTPC is ready for prime time. Software is WAY too flakey, and nobody has support for any of the quality video sources (digital HD via cable or dish).

I have a PC with an ATi Radeon All in wonder, and its cheaper due to no monthly charge, but not nearly as usefull, user friendly, or flexible as the Tivo type products.

Bah. The rules say that "I wanna" posts are perfectly fine. Sure, you're supposed to put them in the worthless "I Wanna" thread, but no one ever gets any answers in there (just a lot of "I wanna pony", "I wanna porsche"...)

If you want to build relevant topics and help each other, a post like mine is the perfect way to do it...

it's okay to not know the rules and make a mistake, but to know the rules and break them is just a sign of arrogance and deserves to be flamed.
