Any xbox/ps3-ers on 27'' monitors?

If so, what monitor you have and how's the image quality of your console on it? And you do get the 2 black bars on top and bottom when u play right?

I'm on a 24inch screen which I assume has the same 1920x1200 res as your 27. I set it to full screen in my monitor menu so I don't see the black bars. If I set it to 1:1 on my monitor then I get bars.

don't you lose a bit of quality when you go full screen? anyways..is a 24'' big enough for playing console games on 1:1 scaling? how far are u from the screen when u play?

Yeah you lose a bit unless the game is running 1080p but I'd rather have the picture fill the screen. Yeah 24" is definitely big enough and I'm sure the picture will look worse on a 27" monitor due to the larger pixel size. I'm about 1.5-2 feet away from the monitor.
